Federal Art Project
President Roosevelt knew art is "part of the present life of all living and creating peoples." So during the Great Depression, FDR created the "Federal Art Project" which employed artists and designers around the country and helped create some of the most iconic art of the United States. To pay tribute to such an important ( and often forgotten) government program, I redesigned and updated the logo from 1943. And who knows, maybe we'll need another Federal Art Project soon...?
